Patna, August10: RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has accused Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha of possessing two EPIC numbers with different addresses and ages — one in Lakhisarai (age 57) and another in Bankipur (age 60). Displaying both voter IDs, Tejashwi alleged fraud in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral roll and demanded an FIR against Sinha.
Tejashwi questioned whether the Election Commission would act against Sinha, accusing the BJP of “destroying democracy.” His remarks came after the Patna Electoral Registration Officer sought details of the EPIC card he mentioned in a previous press meet. The ERO has reiterated its request for the documents for verification.
