Bhubaneswar, March 17: While, the status involving safety & security of Odia Language in the cut-off areas is almost dwindling & at stake, the Bhasa Utthana Association, Jharkhand is hosting an ‘Odia Drama’ competition here at Kharsawan under the Sadheikala district limit.

Inspired by the Odia Language, Literature & Culture Department, Government of Odisha, the program will be held from March 18-21 at the Singhadwara of the Kharsawangarh.

In the 4-day programs, different cultural organizations would play 4 socio-economic plays worth linguistic significance, in order to sensitize and organize the Odia Diasporas, residing beside the borders.

Social & mythological Odia plays titled, ‘Kininela Mana Kalanagar’, Rakhideigala Akhira Luha, Sitala Mangala Nama Jagati Pala and ‘ Ae Jugara Bishalyakarani’, are slated to be staged during the occasion.
