ODI and T20 rosters finalised
Veteran players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli retain their spots in the ODI configuration, bringing valuable experience to the 15-member field. KL Rahul assumes the vice-captaincy role alongside his wicketkeeping responsibilities in the 50-over format. The pace attack features Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, and Gurnoor Brar, while Kuldeep Yadav handles spin duties.

Match schedule and venue details
Fans will witness eight highly competitive games across multiple cities. The three-match ODI series kicks off in Trivandrum on September 27 at 2:00 PM. Guwahati hosts the second match on September 30, followed by New Chandigarh on October 3.
Evening T20 clashes, all scheduled for 7:00 PM starts, begin in Lucknow on October 6. Subsequent matches take place in Ranchi on October 9, Indore on October 11, and Hyderabad on October 14. Bengaluru will host the series finale on October 17.
Irani Cup and Asian Games updates
Rishabh Pant steps into the captaincy role for the 15-member Rest of India team. He will guide a talented group including Sarfaraz Khan, who takes on vice-captain duties.
In related tournament developments, medical staff ruled Varun Chakaravarthy out of the Japan T20I and Asian Games due to a side strain. Selectors drafted Vipraj Nigam to fill his position. Furthermore, management withdrew Nitish Kumar Reddy from the Asian Games group, redirecting him to participate exclusively in the West Indies ODI encounters.
