Ayodhya, Jan 19: Preparations are in full swing for the consecration ceremony of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir, scheduled for January 22, 2024.

The Prime Minister is set to inaugurate the temple. Sources said, over 7,000 guests, including politicians, film personalities, and prominent industrialists, will participate in the ceremony.
Across various states, schools have declared a holiday on the day of the consecration, and the Union government has announced a half-day closure of central government offices, institutions, and industrial establishments on January 22.
Official holidays have been declared in several states. In Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has declared a partial closure of educational institutions. Chhattisgarh has announced a statewide holiday for educational institutions, and a special train service to Ayodhya has been introduced.

Goa has officially declared a public holiday on January 22, recognizing the significance of the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony. In Haryana, schools will be temporarily closed, and the consumption of liquor will be prohibited statewide on the day of the Ram Temple Inauguration.
The main inauguration event, scheduled for January 22, will witness key ceremonies of the Pran Pratistha conducted by a team of priests led by Lakshmikant Dixit.
An essential aspect of the event will be the offering of revered Ram Raj.
