Bhubaneswar, August 12: ArtificiaI Intelligence(AI) cameras in Odisha govt. offices will soon keep eye on employees and their activities.
It’s because the state government is all set to install AI-powered cameras to replace regular CCTV surveillance.
This is to lens the officials, attendance and exit along with their work records in real-time.
Equipped with facial detection and active surveillance technology, the AI cameras will ensure that discipline and official decorums are well maintained in public offices.
The resolution was taken in a high-level meeting on Wednesday, chaired by the Chief Secretary.
In a first AI cameras will be installed at Lok Seva Bhawan and Kharavela Bhawan then in other government offices.
Later on, AI-powered cameras will be installed in every office across the state, the Chief Secretary urged the Secretaries of all departments.
