Bhubaneswar, Ap 11: Ollywood actor Buddhaditya Mohanty lodged a complaint at Bidanasi Police Station in Cuttack, alleging defamation by film producer Pritam Sahu on social media.
In his statement, the actor expressed deep distress over a disparaging post that tarnished his image, purportedly posted by the said producer. Additionally, he accused the producer of making offensive remarks targeting him within a WhatsApp group.
Efforts by senior figures in Ollywood to reconcile the dispute reportedly proved futile, prompting Buddhaditya to seek police intervention. Addressing the issue, he highlighted derogatory comments made by the producer, Pritam Sahu, alleging acts of body-shaming and age-shaming, and dismissing his stature in the industry.
