Bhubaneswar, May 13: Around 23.25% of the total votes have been cast across four Lok Sabha and 28 Assembly Constituencies in Odisha till 11.00 AM during the first phase of elections.

Notably, Nuapada saw the highest voter turnout at 27.88%, while Rayagada recorded the lowest at 21%. Mohana and Nabarangpur witnessed 21.47% and 21.50% turnout respectively, while Narla, Paralakhemundi, Patanga, and Umerkote recorded 26.46%, 22.64%, 24.81%, and 26.20% respectively.

Voting is currently ongoing in districts including Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, and Nuapada in southern Odisha. In total, there are 37 candidates contesting for the Koraput, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, and Berhampur Lok Sabha seats, while 240 candidates are vying for positions in the 28 Assembly seats under these four Lok Sabha constituencies.
