Youth Congress to launch ‘Panchayat Chalo’ campaign soon

Bhubaneswar, Jan 20: As elections are impending, the youth wing of Odisha Congress has decided to hold protests in every Panchayat of the state. 

The Congress workers will expose the inefficiency, corruption, mismanagement and anti-people policies of the Modi and Naveen government in the state and the centre, said Youth Congress President Ranjit Patra. 

The youth Congress on Friday organized a state-level meeting to chalk out future course of action for ensuing Lok Sabha and state assembly elections.

 They have also discussed to hilight several failures of both centre and state government .  

In the meeting, it was decided that Youth Congress workers would visit villages as part of their panchayata chalo program and meet the youths in rural areas to know whether they have been benefited by the promise made by the Modi government and state government.

Ranjit Patra said, “if the Youth Congress workers continue their protest against the bad policy of central and state governments at grassroots level, there would be change in the situation.”

 On this occasion, All India Youth Congress general secretary and Odisha Youth Congress in charge Milind Gautam,  MLA Ramesh Jena, Bhubaneswar District Congress President Bishwajit Das were also present.
