Rajnagar, March 23: A woman tragically lost her life after being attacked by a monkey in Rajnagar village, under the jurisdiction of the Aathgarh police limits.

The deceased, identified as 61-year-old Sulochana Sahu, was on her way to the rooftop when she was attacked by money. The monkey's attack caused her to stumble and fall from the rooftop.

She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, doctors declared her dead on arrival.

This incident comes amidst a rise in monkey-related attacks in the Aathgarh Sadar Range, where, in recent days, between six to seven persons have been injured by monkeys. Authorities are now facing increasing calls to take immediate action to control the growing monkey menace in the region.
