New Delhi, July 21: Union Minister JP Nadda on Tuesday visited injured students and police personnel undergoing treatment at Delhi’s Lady Hardinge Medical College, a day after clashes erupted during the ‘Sansad Chalo’ march in the national capital.

Nadda’s visit came a day after he met a delegation of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), which has been spearheading protests over the alleged NEET 2026 paper leak. Following the meeting, he described the discussions as “good,” saying they were held in a constructive atmosphere.

According to Delhi Police, more than 100 police personnel and several protesters were injured in Monday’s clashes between demonstrators and security forces. Authorities said multiple people were detained, and FIRs were registered in connection with alleged incidents of violence and vandalism.

Protest leaders, however, accused the police of using excessive force to disperse the demonstrators, alleging that several participants sustained injuries during the action.
