Bhubaneswar, Sept 5: A total of 45 outstanding educators from across the country will be honoured with the National Teachers’ Award 2025 today, in recognition of their exceptional contributions to the field of education. Among the awardees are two teachers from Odisha- Tarun Kumar Das, from PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, Koraput, and Basant Kumar Rana, from Kondel Government Nodal Upper Primary School in Malkangiri district.

The prestigious awards will be presented by President Droupadi Murmu at a special ceremony held in New Delhi to mark the occasion of Teachers’ Day.

Each recipient of the National Teachers’ Award will receive a certificate of recognition, a cash prize of ₹50,000, and a silver medal, celebrating their dedication and excellence in shaping young minds across the country.
