Angul, Aug 28: In an unfortunate incident, two labourers including a man and a woman died of asphyxiation while cleaning a septic tank. The incident occurred in Dhaurapali village under Kishorenagar police limits in Odisha’s Angul district on Wednesday morning.
The deceased have been identified as Artatrana Mirdha of Baija village and Rina Mahar of Rengalabeda village of Bamur panchayat.
According to the information, Mirdha and Mahar had gone to clean the new septic tank of Pranabandhu Biswal of Dhaurapali village. However, while cleaning the tank, they fell unconcious due to suffocation.
They were rushed to the local community health centre where doctors declared them brought dead.
