Mumbai, Aug 6: Actor-producer Tusshar Kapoor, a devout Buddhist, acknowledges the influence of fortune, both favorable and unfavorable, in shaping one's journey. While he recognizes the impact of karma on our lives, he believes that sincere prayers have the power to alter destiny.
"In this world, I believe in both good and bad fortune. Our actions are governed by our karma. Some individuals exert great effort but encounter persistent obstacles," Tusshar shared with IANS.
He added, "Conversely, there are those who seem less diligent but find success effortlessly." Tusshar emphasized the long-term benefits of hard work but acknowledged luck's role in short-term outcomes.
"Luck can either expedite achievements or delay them—it's intertwined with our karma. I firmly believe we manifest these circumstances," explained the son of veteran actor Jeetendra.
Tusshar, reflecting on his Buddhist beliefs, expressed, "As a Buddhist, I believe we possess the ability to transform our karma and alter our fate. Through earnest prayers and spiritual practices, one can invite more positivity and change their luck."
Currently appearing on the OTT show "Dus June Ki Raat" as Bhagesh, a character plagued by misfortune, Tusshar explores themes of luck and destiny, showcasing how these concepts resonate both on and off-screen.
