Three of a family consume poison during train journey, hospitalized

Puri, Sept 18: In a shocking incident, three members of family were admitted to the hospital in critical conditions after they reportedly consumed poison on a train on Wednesday.

The victims have been identified as Raju Mandal and his family of Moudi area of Jashipur in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district.

According to the information, Raju, his wife and daughter consumed poison while traveling to Puri and got off the train at Kanas station road. Seeing their critical condition, bystanders quickly took them to Delanga Hospital. After receiving initial treatment, they were transferred to Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar due to their deteriorating condition.

However, the exact reason behind this tragic incident is yet to be assertained.
