Subarnapur, June 21: Odisha Vigilance on Friday apprehended a RI and an ARI of Khandahata RI circle under Biramaharajpur Tahasil in Odisha’s Subarnapur district for allegedly demanding and accepting bribe from a complainant.
Acting on a tip-off, Vigilance conducted a raid and arrested ARI Panchanan Dang while accepting bribe of Rs 5,000 from a Complainant as per direction of RI Rajendra Kumar Mishra to forward the enquiry report in Revision Petition Case filed by complt for issuance of ROR.
The entire bribe money has been recovered and seized. Following the trap, simultaneous searches are going on at two locations of both the accused persons from DA angle.
