Bhubaneswar, Nov 29: In a tragic incident, a person was killed after a speeding truck hit a scooter in Rasulgarh area of Bhubaneswar this morning.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be known.
As per reports, the deceased person was on his way to Vani Vihar when a truck hit his scooter in Rasulgarh and ran over him leading to his death on the spot. Following the mishap, the truck driver left the vehicle and fled from the spot. On getting the information, police rushed to the spot and seized the body. Subsequently, it was sent to Capital Hospital for post-mortem.
Further investigation into the matter is underway, said the police.
