Cuttack, Sep 6: The Special Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2025 will be conducted on September 27, announced the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) today.
According to the official notification released on Saturday, the examination will be held in two sittings:
The admit cards for the Special OTET will be available for download from September 17 on the BSE’s official website: www.bseodisha.ac.in.
The board has also clarified that there will be no changes to the examination centres previously allotted.
“The Special Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (SOTET), 2025 for Paper-I & Paper-II categories, which was earlier postponed via Notification No.610 (Secret) dated 19.07.2025, will now be held on 27.09.2025 (Saturday) as per the revised schedule,” the BSE stated in its notification.
“The examination centres will remain unchanged, and admit cards will be available from 17.09.2025,” it added.
The Special OTET was originally scheduled for August 31, but was postponed due to unavoidable circumstances. No specific reason for the postponement was mentioned by the board at the time.
