Bhubaneswar, April 18: Two students from Odisha who secured a perfect score in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 examination were felicitated by Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University (SOA) on Friday.

SOA Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda honoured Tina Rath of Mothers Public School, Puri, and Alisha Biswal of Kendriya Vidyalaya-1, Bhubaneswar, for achieving 500 out of 500 marks in the examination.

During the interaction, Prof. Nanda discussed their preparation strategies and future aspirations, while also advising them on how to build on their academic success.

Tina, who balances academics with interests in Bharatanatyam and painting, said she studied for five to six hours daily. She aspires to become a cardiologist.

Alisha credited her success to disciplined study routines, consistent writing practice, and effective time management. She studied for three to four hours daily and aims to pursue a career in neurology.

On the occasion, Tina’s father Sameer Kumar Rath and mother Renu Prabha Das, along with Alisha’s father Sudarshan Biswal and mother Soudamini Mallik, were present. Sunil Das, CEO of Suma Real Media Private Limited, and Debanarayan Sethi, Executive Editor of News-7, also attended the event.
