Bhadrak, Oct 5: In a tragic incident, a minor girl died after a cement-concrete slab from an under-construction flyover bridge fell on her all of a sudden.

The incident took place at Bishnupur Chhak on NH-16 under Dhamnagar police limits that wreaked massive public outrage in the locality for hours.

According to reports, a JCM machine was placing concrete slabs on an under construction flyover brige in the afternoon. Meanwhile, a minor girl was crushed to death after one of the slabs fell on her while she was commuting by that way.

Following the incident, mob blocked the NH and set the JCB machine on fire. Police checked further escalation on the spot, amicably discussing with the deceased’s parents.
