Silver hits record high of Rs 1,32,300/kg; Gold prices dip from historic peaks

 

New Delhi, September 15: Silver prices surged by Rs 300, reaching a new all-time high of Rs 1,32,300 per kilogram, while gold prices retreated from their record highs, falling by Rs 500 on Monday, following strong global trends.

As per the All India Sarafa Association, the price of standard gold (99.9% purity) decreased by Rs 500, settling at Rs 1,13,300 per 10 grams (inclusive of taxes), ending its four-day winning streak. Just last Friday, the price of gold had surged by Rs 700 to a record Rs 1,13,800 per 10 grams.

Similarly, gold of 99.5% purity saw a Rs 500 dip, trading at Rs 1,12,800 per 10 grams (inclusive of taxes). This marked a drop from the previous session, where it had closed at Rs 1,13,300 per 10 grams.
