Tamil Nadu, Sept 29: The Chennai Police received a phone call earlier on Sunday claiming that a bomb had been planted at the ECR, Neelankarai residence of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) Chief and actor Vijay.

Following the alert, the police personnel accompanied with Bomb-difusion squad rushed to the actor’s residence and started examining the premises.

The bomb disposal squad subsequently carried a thorough search inside and outside the premises.However, no clue regarding bombs was found till a long-operation even with the help of sniffing dog squad.
