Credafil boosts Odisha apparel sector with its new manufacturing unit at Cuttack
Odisha is rapidly growing its footprint in the regional apparel sector as Shree Vastram by Credafil launches a new manufacturing facility in Shreeram Nagar, Madhupatna, Cuttack. This newly opened plant will manufacture high-quality sportswear. It provides a wide variety of garments, including jerseys, T-shirts, and caps, designed specifically for students, athletes, local institutions, and sports teams. Ollywood actress Sivani Sangita officially inaugurated the factory. She participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside Credafil Managing Director and CEO Mukesh Kumar Nayak, Director Bijaya Kumar Mohanty, and other company executives.

During the inaugural event, Mukesh Kumar Nayak explained that the vision of the organisation extends beyond simple business growth. He emphasized their goal to empower skilled talents across Odisha by generating sustainable employment opportunities. The leadership team wants to establish a homegrown brand that carries local spirit to a larger national stage. The new manufacturing unit promises to deliver garments that combine comfort, durability, and contemporary style at reasonable prices.
Presently, Credafil maintains a strong market footprint, operating across 10 different states through a network of 7,000 stores. The enterprise supports a customer base of nearly 15 lakh people. It currently provides 5,000 direct employment opportunities and records an annual revenue of approximately ₹100 crore. By managing active operations both in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, the company plans to increase its manufacturing capacity throughout the state. This strategic expansion will create additional jobs and build a stronger ecosystem for sportswear production, offering reliable products to youth and sports lovers alike.
