Bhubaneswar, Dec 10: A large number of Sadhus staged a protest in the capital city of Odisha, Bhubaneswar on Tuesday over attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh.
The peaceful demonstrators of various Hindu outfits under the banner of Hindu Surakhya Manch gathered at Exhibition Ground and marched towards Lower PMG in Bhubaneswar raising slogans like ‘Protect Hindus’ and chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’.
“We demand justice for Hindus in Bangladesh. The Indian government should take initiatives to stop the brutality on Hindus,” said a Sadhu.
Hindus are being targeted, their temples are being burnt down and destroyed, houses are being looted. We have gathered here to ask for justice for Bangladeshi Hindus…. We will submit a memorandum to the President of India through the Governor, said another Sadhu.
