Bhopal, Dec 13: The famous saint of Nimanth, Siyarama Baba, breathed his last at around 6:10 am at his ashram in Bhattiyan Bazurg, on the occasion of Mokshada Ekadashi and Gita Jayanti.
Sources said, Siyarama Baba had been ill for some time, suffering from pneumonia. After receiving treatment in the hospital, he decided to return to the ashram, where he continued to receive medical care.

According to Hindu belief, the Ekadashi of the Shukla Paksha in the month of Margashira is known as Mokshada Ekadashi, which is believed to provide liberation from the cycle of birth and death.
Significant facts about Siyarama Baba:
-Siyarama Baba was revered by his followers as a miraculous figure. He was known to wear only a loincloth, regardless of the weather. It is said that he performed penance by standing for ten years.
-Baba practiced silence for twelve years, and when he finally broke his silence, his first words were "Siyarama." From that moment, his followers began calling him by this name.
-Siyarama Baba was known to recite the Ramayana for up to 21 hours continuously, reading its verses with full energy.
-When devotees visited him, they often wished to offer donations. However, Baba only accepted 10 rupees from them as a donation, and he would use this money for temple and charitable work.
-Siyarama Baba’s passing on such a significant day has left his followers in mourning, but they also believe that he has achieved liberation.
