Bhubaneswar, Oct 7: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completing 25 years in public service, describing his journey as an example of selfless leadership, good governance and commitment to social justice.

In a series of posts on X, Majhi praised the Prime Minister’s long public career and said his contributions to social justice and the welfare of marginalised sections have strengthened the democratic ethos of the country.

“A quarter of a century devoted to social justice and the welfare of the marginalized has enriched the democratic ethos of our republic,” Majhi said, adding that Modi’s record in public governance would continue to serve as an inspiration for future generations.

Highlighting Modi’s governance model, the Chief Minister said public trust is the foundation of good governance and noted that the Prime Minister had demonstrated this principle throughout his 25 years in public life.

Majhi also said Modi’s vision of an empowered and developed India continues to provide momentum to Odisha’s development priorities.

Under Modi’s leadership, India is progressing with the spirit of “Seva, Sankalp and Samarpan” — serving the people, transforming the nation and working towards a stronger and brighter future, he said.

In another post, Majhi said the Prime Minister’s 25-year journey, marked by “visionary resolve and relentless duty,” had contributed to India’s emergence as a confident and self-reliant global power.

“On behalf of the Government and the people of Odisha, I offer my deepest congratulations on this significant accomplishment,” the Chief Minister said.
