Taking to his official ‘X’ handle, he wrote, "As we approach this year's Independence Day, I look forward to hearing from my fellow Indians! What themes or ideas would you like to see reflected in this year's Independence Day speech? Share your thoughts on the Open Forums on MyGov and the NaMo App.”

In keeping with tradition, the Prime Minister of India hoists the tricolour at the Red Fort in Delhi and delivers an address to the nation on August 15, marking India's Independence Day.

Last year, during the 78th Independence Day celebrations, PM Modi's speech centered around the theme 'Viksit Bharat @ 2047,' highlighting the government's vision to transform India into a developed nation by 2047.
