Delhi, July 21: The Monsoon Session in the Parliament that began on Monday went stormy from the beginning.
The session was adjourned till the noon, as uproar came up following the Congress’ mass demand over the Operation Sindoor.

In the Lok Sabha, soon after the question hour began, opposition began raising slogans demanding a precise brief on the Operation Sindoor in the house. As a result, speaker Om Birla was pushed to adjourn the session till 12pm.
The Monsoon Session, which will continue till August 21, with a break from August 12 to August 18, will have 21 sittings across 32 days. The session will likely to witness discussions on multiple bills, including the Income-Tax Bill, introduced during the Budget Session in February. Coastal Shipping Bill, 2024, Bills of Lading Bill, Manipur Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Bill, and Indian Institutes of Management (Amendment) Bill are among several bills likely to be taken up during the monsoon session.
