Bhubaneswar: Om Patel and Aleena Farid ranked men’s 11 and women’s 26 becomes the top seeded player in the J30 Bhubaneswar ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors 2026 is ongoing at Kalinga Stadium from 25th April to 2nd May 2026. Being organized by the Odisha Tennis Association in association with the Department of Sports & Youth Services, Govt of Odisha & Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL).

 

The Bhubaneswar leg of the tournament has attracted a strong field of 164 junior players, including 74 girls and 90 boys aged 18 and under, representing India and several international nations such as Australia, USA, China, and Nepal. They will participate in boys’ and girls’ singles and doubles events.

 

The winner and runner up will get ITF World Ranking Juniors 30 and 18 points respectively, while semifinalist, quarterfinalist and round-16 will get nine, five and two points respectively.  

 

Similarly doubles winner and runner up will get ITF World Ranking Juniors 25 and 13 points, while semifinalist and quarterfinalist will get six and three points respectively.

 

Tournament officiating by Sambit Patnaik as tournament director, while Prabin Kumar Nayak has been appointed as ITF Supervisor by the International Tennis Federation to conduct the event in accordance with international standards.

 

The Opening Ceremony of the tournament was graced by Chief guest Vinayatosh Mishra,DGP, Crime Branch. He was joined by Asit Tripathy, IAS (Retd.), President, Odisha Tennis Association. Sanjeeb Panda, IPS, Honorary Secretary, OTA.

 

Odisha Representation in Main Draw Boys: Aditya Bikram Acharya, Shreyan Patnaik, Suyash Patnaik, Ayush Pattnaik

 

Girls: Shazfa Wania SK, Sanranchana Das, Sanvi Mohanty. ​​​​​​​
