Odisha’s CBSE toppers share “How They Balanced Studies and Social Media”

Bhubaneswar, Ap 17: In today’s mobile-driven era, students are often distracted by their phones, using them as a pretext to avoid studies. However, two students from Odisha-Alisha Biswal and Teena Rath-have set an example by achieving top ranks in the CBSE board examinations while managing their social media use responsibly.

Both students emphasized that self-discipline and strong willpower were key to their success. Alisha Biswal, a student of Kendriya Vidyalaya-1, Bhubaneswar, and Teena Rath from Mother Public School, Puri, scored 100% marks in their board exams. They stated that keeping away from unnecessary social media distractions was the most important step in achieving this milestone.

The students shared that they used social media only for productive purposes, such as gathering information for studies via YouTube and AI tools. They stressed that controlling mobile usage and staying focused on learning is essential in today’s digital age.

Following their achievement, both Alisha and Teena received best wishes from the Vice-Chancellor of the Education and Research Council, Professor Pradeep Kumar Nanda. The students also discussed their future plans and expressed pride in their accomplishments, feeling honored to receive independent recognition from the news organization.

Offering advice to fellow students, both toppers encouraged maintaining dedication and concentration in studies, and to use social media solely as a tool for learning and self-improvement.
