Bhubaneswar , April 29: In Nayagarh, Odisha, election campaigning has taken a unique turn. The incumbent MLA, Arun Kumar Sahu, BJD’s candidate and his party workers organized a flag march program in Nayagarh town, with around 10,000 participants.
The march began at the BJD party office and continued throughout the town, even reaching the Daskhin Kali Temple in old Nayagarh. The sea of people proudly displayed the BJD’s conch symbol during this event.
Typically, flag marches are organized by the police administration to ensure peaceful elections.
However, in this case, the ruling BJD’s candidate Arun Kumar Sahu and his team took it upon themselves to sensitize the general public about the importance of free and fair elections. It’s commendable that they actively engaged with the community beyond the usual police-led efforts.
On this occasion, Arun Sahu expressed gratitude to his party workers for their support.
