Visakhapatnam, Aug 13: Odisha Senior Men (probables) defeated Andhra Senior Men in two consecutive T20 practice matches played at Kandukuri Cricket Academy Grounds, here.
Odisha won the first T20 by 7 runs and the second game by 7 wickets on Monday.
In the first T20, put into bat first, Odisha scored 184/5 in the allotted 20 overs with Rakesh Pattanaik's 35-ball 61 and Kartik Biswal's 31-ball 43.
In reply, Andhra were limited to 177/7 in 20 overs. For Odisha, Shekhar Majhi was the most successful bowler with 3/31 figure. He was ably supported by Debabrata Pradhan, who scalped 2 wickets giving away 28 runs in his quota of four overs.
In the second match, winning the toss Odisha asked Andhra to bat first. The hosts were all out for 101 in 18.2 overs, unable to negotiate Odisha spinner Papu Ray (4/18) and all-rounder Abhishek Yadav (1/9).
Chasing a modest target of 102, Odisha had rather an easy task as they reached 103/3 in 14.5 overs. Shubham Shatrujit (36) and Abhishek Yadav (unbeaten 34) helped the visitors to chase the target with comfortably.
