Bhubaneswar, June 27: The Odisha government will resume its public grievances and joint hearings from July 1, following the directives of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) for General Administration and Public Grievance, Surendra Kumar, has communicated this decision in a letter addressed to Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Commissioner-cum-Secretaries of all departments, heads of departments, all collectors & District Magistrates, and Superintendents of Police (SPs).
"I am directed to reference the subject cited above and to inform you that the hearing of Monday public grievances in all government departments, heads of departments, and the joint hearing of public grievances by collectors and Superintendents of Police in their respective districts will resume from 01.07.2014 as per the orders of the Hon'ble Chief Minister," the letter stated. It further emphasized that all grievances received during the hearings must be registered on the Jana Sunani portal for record-keeping purposes.
