Bhubaneswar, August 5: In a major boost to railway connectivity in Odisha and to accommodate the increased travel demand from Odisha to Maharashtra and provide additional passenger convenience, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) will operate a One-Way Special train between Puri and Solapur Junction.
According to an ECoR release, train No. 08445 Puri–Solapur Junction One-Way Special will commence its journey from Puri at 23.45 hrs on Friday (August 7), and will arrive at Solapur Junction at 04:15 hrs on Sunday. En route, the special train will halt at Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Vizianagaram, Duvvada, Vijayawada Junction, Guntur, Nalgonda, Secunderabad, Wadi, and Kalaburagi, providing convenient connectivity to passengers travelling to these important destinations.
The special train will comprise 22 coaches, including 13 Sleeper Class Coaches, seven General Second Class Coaches, and 2 Luggage-cum-Divyang Friendly Coaches, ensuring adequate accommodation for passengers of different travel categories.
“For updated train information, passengers may visit the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) or use official railway enquiry services before commencing their journey,” said the ECoR.
