Bhubaneswar, August 25: The Odisha State Cabinet has on Monday approved the Odisha IT Policy 2025, aiming to make the state a hub for innovation and IT-enabled services.
The policy focuses on AI, cloud computing, data analytics, IoT, cybersecurity, 5G, AR/VR, and blockchain, with goals to create 1 million jobs and attract global investments. It promises world-class infrastructure, including IT Parks, SEZs, and a Cable Landing Station, along with incentives like subsidies, tax benefits, skill development, and startup support.
A Policy Advocacy & Vision Group (PAVG) will guide implementation, with OCAC as the nodal agency.
