Odisha: Body of missing elderly man found floating in pond in Kendrapara

Kendrapara, Aug 6: The body of an elderly man, who had been missing for the past three days, was recovered from a pond in Aul area of Odisha's Kendrapara district this morning.
The deceased has been identified as Nirakar Sahu (75), a resident of Thakurpatna village under Aul police limits in the district. As per reports, Nirakar went missing three days back following which his son Pitabas Sahu, filed a missing report with Aul police on August 4.
However, the fire service personnel discovered Nirakar’s body from a pond in the village. After being recovered, the body was taken to the Aul Community Healthcare Center (CHC) for post-mortem. The exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained.
