
Bhubaneswar: The ‘wild fire; Pushpa 2 The Rule has turned an inferno. The Mythri movie makers dream project has a wonder run at the box office worldwide. In just 3 days, the net collection of Pushpa 2 has crossed 588 cr. The film became the fastest ever in Indian cinema to cross 500cr mark.
As per box office reports, the gross collections in India ‘BOOM-ED’ to Rs 463.9 cr, and the world wide gross collections stood at Rs125 cr. The overall gross stands at Rs 588.9cr. However, the net collections (after taxes) are estimated at the following.
A glance at the above data shows Pushpa 2 the Rule is milking the most in North India and east, including Odisha. Across all the languages, the film has grossed the highest in Hindi language. For which, the Pushpa 2 has stamped a RECORD in bollywood. Details are below.
The Sunday advance booking figures are an inferno. Data shows the advance ticket sales in Hindi stood at 21.37 lakh and the advance collection has been estimated at around Rs 47 cr. INFERNO IN BHUBANESWAR: Ticket prices up 20-56%
Theatre houses in the Capital city holds as many as 67 shows on Sunday. Though the shows were lower than Day 2, they have jacked up the prices in every category by 20-56%. Most big cinema chains have no tickets priced around Rs 350. The VIP tickets prices saw jacking up by around 56%.
Even then, the occupancy in the Capital city stands at a massive 92 % as on mid day.
Similarly, the neighbouring Silver city is holding 17 shows, and the occupancy stands at 72 % by mid day.
The steel city Rourkela is holding 35 shows on Sunday. And the average occupancy data stood at 78% (ranges from 84% to 72%).
Berhampur occupancy – Houseful.
Sambalpur – 8 shows, occupancy stood at 82%.
Bhawanipatna – 13 shows, 100% occupancy.
Balasore – 7 shows, 84% occupancy.
Reports suggest the ticket prices in Rourkela have been jacked up for Sunday booking, elsewhere, the scenario is as usual.

The film traction has been lower in Punjab, where the occupancy in big cities ranged from 12% to 27%. Gadar 2 had been a blockbuster hit in Punjab.
SUNDAY GROSS?
The advance booking data and the craze at the present hints at Pushpa 2 The Rule going to have a Sunday collection of Rs 77-80cr in Hindi. And across language, the Allu Arjun starred movie may gross between Rs 130 -140cr on Sunday.
