Mumbai, June 15:Veteran actor and politician Mithun Chakraborty’s daughter, Dishani Chakraborty, has announced her engagement to longtime partner Myles Mantzaris. The couple is set to tie the knot on December 6, 2026.
Sharing the joyful news on social media, Dishani posted a series of photographs from the romantic proposal. The pictures captured Myles, a steadicam operator and colorist by profession, going down on one knee to propose. Another image showcased Dishani proudly displaying her engagement ring, while the final photograph featured the couple sharing a heartfelt kiss.
Accompanying the post, Dishani wrote, “06.12.2026 … The easiest forever I’ve ever known.” The announcement received warm wishes from friends and followers, including actress Celina Jaitly, who liked the post.
Dishani is the adopted daughter of Mithun Chakraborty and actress Yogeeta Bali. The couple has four children — Mimoh, Ushmey, Namashi, and Dishani. Mithun, fondly known as “Mahaguru,” has enjoyed a remarkable career spanning over five decades and more than 350 films.
The National Award-winning actor rose to fame with films such as Disco Dancer, Agneepath, Guru, The Tashkent Files, and The Kashmir Files. He is also widely recognized for his role as Grand Master on the popular television reality show Dance India Dance. Mithun’s latest film, The Bengal Files, directed by Vivek Agnihotri, has recently been released.
