New Delhi, Aug 7: Miscreants on Wednesday fired shots on standup comedian Kapil Sharma’s Kaps Café in Canada.
Today’s incident intensified the concern of security forces, as this is the second incident wherein Kapil’s popular Café was targeted.
Two gangs - Gurpreet Singh alias Goldy Dhillon, and Lawrence Bishnoi - in posts on social media claimed responsibility for today’s attack.
As per reports, at least 25 gunshots were showered on the café, as seen on a purported video that surfaced on social media.
A voice was also heard saying in the video, amid the crack of the gunshots, "... We had called the target, but he didn't hear the ring, so we had to take action. If he still doesn't hear the ring, the next action will be taken soon in Mumbai."
The first attack at the comedian's newly opened Kap's Cafe happened on July 10. At least 10 bullet holes were found in a window of the café while some window panes were shattered.
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
Kaps Café officials said, they will continue serving customers with all humility and never care any adverse situation meant for harming the fair business.
