Bhubaneswar, Nov 18: In a very bizarre incident, a man who bit a traffic policeman, leaving the latter severely injured has been arrested by Bharatpur police today.

Sources said, a series of accidents involving three cars occurred just in front of the Bharatpur Traffic post in the afternoon. A traffic policeman went to the spot to clear the congestion. When he was doing his duty, a person, identified as a contractor supervising some work nearby, confronted the cop and bit him, leaving him seriously injured.
The injured cop was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment.
