Cuttack, Jul 22: A man named Gokuli Chandra Singh from Birabarpur in Cuttack was arrested by the Tigiria police for allegedly spreading intimate video of a woman.

According to reports, Gokuli was in a relationship with young woman residing in Nuapatana under the Tigiria Police limits. At some point, Gokuli recorded an intimate moment with the woman on his mobile phone and later sent it to a friend.
The woman's father learned of the incident and immediately contacted the police, requesting that the video be deleted. However, instead of deleting it, Gokuli allegedly abused the father in foul language and went on to make the video viral. Following this, the woman's father filed a formal written complaint at the Police Station.
The police registered a case under section 137/25 and initiated an investigation. Gokuli was arrested from the Nayagarh area, and his mobile phone was seized. He was then taken to court on Monday.
