Mumbai, Mar 2: Actor Mahesh Babu has praised his co-star Priyanka Chopra Jonas for her stellar performance in the film The Bluff, calling her "in top form." Taking to his X handle, Mahesh shared his admiration, highlighting the engaging action and emotional depth of the film.
"#TheBluff is a well-mounted film with engaging action and emotions!!! @priyankachopra is in top form, swashbuckling and ticking all the boxes with a packed performance... Sending all my love to the team for the amazing work," Mahesh Babu wrote.
Earlier, renowned filmmaker SS Rajamouli also showered praise on Priyanka's performance after watching the trailer of The Bluff. On Instagram Stories, Rajamouli wrote, "Priyanka is unstoppable and always surprises... what a commanding presence and fiery performance. Looking forward to The Bluff."
Priyanka Chopra is gearing up for her highly anticipated return to Indian cinema with Varanasi, directed by SS Rajamouli. The film stars Mahesh Babu in the lead role and is set to be released in 2027. Mahesh Babu plays the role of Rudhra, and Priyanka will portray Mandakini. The film will also feature actor Prithviraj Sukumaran.
In The Bluff, set in the Cayman Islands, Priyanka takes on intense action sequences, including sword and gun fights opposite Karl Urban. Directed by Frank E. Flowers, The Bluff is produced by Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, and Angela Russo-Otstot under the AGBO production banner. The film was released on Prime Video on February 25.
