Kolkata, Apr 9: Bengal Provincial Hindu Mahasabha today announced to support BJP candidates in all 42 Lok Sabha constituencies in West Bengal in the upcoming General Elections 2024.
Hindu Mahasabha made the announcement through a press conference at Calcutta Press Club.
The organization believes that BJP can only stand with traditional Hindus. All the demands of Bengal Hindu Mahasabha, including construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya, abrogation of Article 370, strengthening India’s defense and securing a special place for the country in the world, has been fulfilled by the Narendra Modi government.
India is currently the fifth largest economy in the world and various reports state that India will climb to the third position by 2030. According to Bengal Provincial Hindu Mahasabha members, the honor of being the world's fifth largest economy has been brought only by the Modi government.
The organization especially urged BJP candidate Dr. Anirban Gangopadhyay to win from Jadavpur Lok Sabha seat by a huge margin. He is the Chairman of the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukhopadhyay Research Foundation and late Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was the founder of the Bengal Provincial Hindu Mahasabha.

The candidates fielded against BJP and in the name of Bengal Provincial Hindu Mahasabha are fake. This press conference has been organized to attract the attention of general public and make them aware about this, said Anant Singhrai, Secretary of the organization.
Bengal Provincial Hindu Mahasabha unanimously announces to support all the BJP candidates in West Bengal, said President of the organization Shambhunath Ganguly. Office bearers of the organization said that the organization has members in all the districts of West Bengal.
Ganguly further said that only BJP thinks for Hindus. Hindu Mahasabha is formed for traditional Hindus. Also this Mahasabha stood in favor of Hindus persecuted by Muslims in Bangladesh in 1971.
Expressing his opinion, Hindu Mahasabha Secretary Anant Singh Roy said that this Mahasabha has extended a helping hand to the victims during the Corona epidemic.
Roy further added that BJP will perform well in West Bengal in the Lok Sabha elections and he expects BJP to win 35 seats.
Many prominent personalities including the Secretary of the organization Ramanand Chatterjee, Monindra Chandra Nandi, NC Chatterjee, linguist Suniti Kumar Chatterjee were present during the press conference.
