Kendrapara, Sept 6: In a significant move to combat corruption, the Kendrapara district administration has taken decisive action against an Anganwadi worker accused of accepting a bribe for the distribution of forms.
The worker’s salary has been withheld pending further investigation.
The district administration's intervention follows complaints about irregularities and demands for bribes at two Jana Seva Kendras (JSKs).
These centers, crucial for providing various public services, had their IDs blocked as part of the ongoing probe into the allegations.
