New Delhi, June 23: Former Delhi Chief Minister, Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Monday clarified that he will not be heading to the Rajya Sabha, following AAP MP Sanjeev Arora's victory in the Ludhiana West Assembly by-election in Punjab.

Arora, currently a Rajya Sabha member, is expected to resign from the Upper House as he prepares to take on a new role in Punjab politics. During the campaign, Kejriwal had promised that Arora would be inducted into the Punjab Cabinet under Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann if he secured a win.

When asked at a press briefing about who would replace Arora in the Rajya Sabha, Kejriwal quipped, "Many times I’ve been sent to the Rajya Sabha," offering a lighthearted response while reaffirming he has no such plans.
