Chiara Dell’Abate, also known as Aydin Mod, an Italian woman, recently shared her journey of transforming into a human cat by undergoing a total of 20 body modifications. Beginning her transformation at the age of 11 with her first ear piercing, Dell’Abate now boasts over 72 piercings, including punched nostrils, a split tongue, 0.8-centimetre upper lip piercings, and a 1.6-centimetre inner labia piercing.
Her body modifications also include a blepharoplasty (eyelid cosmetic surgery) and ten subdermal implants on both hands. Despite facing criticism and being labeled as "psychotic" and "disturbed," Dell’Abate embraces her unique lifestyle choice, expressing that she feels entirely at home with it. In a TikTok video with over 65 million views, she showcases her split tongue flicking through holes above her lips.

Dell’Abate, who aspires to become a human cat, has eyeball tattoos, pointed ears, permanent eyeliner, forehead implants, and claw-like nails. Addressing the changes to her body, she remarks, "It’s crazy to see how much the human body can change and what you can actually achieve from body modifications." Despite some criticism, she remains unfazed, asserting that she sees herself as a "cool cat lady."
To achieve her envisioned cat-like appearance, Dell’Abate plans to undergo further body modifications, including a cat eyes lift or canthoplasty for more elongated and naturally almond-shaped eyes, teeth reshaping, upper lip modification, and additional fillers. She also plans to have a transdermal attachment for a tail and more tattoos. In her own words, "I have always loved cats, and I think I’ll look really bold and fierce as a cat lady with the right body mods.”
