Puri, Aug 5: A fresh video allegedly recorded from inside the premises of the Shree Jagannath Temple has gone viral on social media, once again raising serious concerns over security arrangements at the 12th-century shrine.

According to reports, the viral clip shows the changing of the Patitapabana Bana (sacred flag) atop the Neelachakra. The video is believed to have been recorded from inside the temple complex, where carrying mobile phones and recording videos is strictly prohibited.

The footage was reportedly uploaded from an Instagram account identified as "kruttika_karpe2017". The incident has triggered questions over how a mobile phone was taken inside the temple and how the video was recorded despite stringent security measures.

This is not the first such incident. Over the past few weeks, several photos and videos purportedly taken from inside the temple have surfaced online. In separate incidents, people have also been seen filming reels near the Singhadwara, the temple's main entrance.

Authorities have additionally reported instances of drone footage being captured over the temple precincts, despite restrictions on aerial photography around the shrine.

The repeated circulation of unauthorized visuals has sparked fresh concerns about enforcement of security protocols. The temple administration and security agencies have repeatedly warned visitors against carrying mobile phones or recording videos inside the shrine, but violations continue to be reported.

The latest incident is expected to prompt renewed scrutiny of security arrangements and surveillance measures at the Jagannath Temple.
