Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Tata Steel Adventure Foundation (TSAF) Sport Climbing High Performance Centre (HPC), in association with Department of Sports and Youth Services (DSYS) Government of Odisha, has officially commenced the second edition of the Summer Camp 2026 at the Kalinga Stadium climbing wall, here scheduled from May 5 to May 19, 2026, the camp has drawn 60 enthusiastic young climbers, reflecting the growing popularity of sport climbing among youth in the state.
Over the next two weeks, participants will undergo intensive training sessions focused on climbing techniques, strength and conditioning, agility, and overall skill development under expert supervision. The camp is designed to provide young climbers with a strong technical foundationwhile nurturing future talent in sport climbing.
Building on the success of its inaugural edition, the second edition of the Summer Camp marks another significant step in Odisha TSAF Sport Climbing HPC and DSYS Odisha’s continued efforts to promote adventure sports and strengthen the sporting ecosystem in the state. With high enthusiasm and active participation, the camp promises to offer an engaging and enriching learning experience for all attendees.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by Dr. Saswat Rout, Assistant Director, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Department of Sports and Youth Services DSYS, Subhrajit Sahoo, Assistant Manager, (DSYS) and Vishnu M. Nair, Program Manager, Odisha Naval Tata Hockey HPC.
