Bhubaneswar, Aug 24: The ill- gotten assets of former Engineer of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Subash Chandra Mishra will be confiscated.
The Vigilance Court on Saturday issued direction to the state government to confiscate Mishra’s properties worth Rs 5.86 crore comprising 3 buildings, 2.5 kg gold ornaments and Rs 34 lakh deposits
Worth mentioning, the Odisha Vigilance had raided Mishra's property in 2004, the charge sheet in connection with the DA case, initiated against him, was filed in 2012.
In the final hearing of the case, the Special Vigilance Court has ordered confiscaion of Mishra’s disproportionate properties.
