Koraput, Nov 27: The Inspector in Charge of Boipariguda Police Station in Odisha’s Koraput district on Monday landed in vigilance net.
Based on reliable inputs about the movement of IIC Susanta Satpathy from Boipariguda to Cuttack in a Bus along with suspected ill-gotten cash, he was intercepted by a team of Odisha Vigilance near Jeypore and Rs 2.7 lakh was recovered from him.
Further, Rs 1.8 lakh was recovered from his office chamber at Boipariguda Police Station during the search.
