New Delhi, July 12: Consumer tech brand ‘Nothing’ today announced that 1 lakh units of its sub-brand's debut smartphone, the CMF Phone 1, were sold within just three hours across various channels.
"The overwhelming demand for CMF Phone 1 further solidifies Nothing's reputation for delivering cutting-edge technology and unique design," the company said in a statement.
The CMF Phone 1, which is being manufactured in India, features a 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate for seamless interactions. It was launched in two variants (6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB) at a starting price of Rs 15,999.
Meanwhile, ‘Nothing’ stated that by manufacturing the device in India, the company aims to leverage the country's robust manufacturing ecosystem while investing in the local economy, fostering technological innovation, and creating job opportunities.
This highlights the brand's acknowledgment of India as a pivotal market in its global strategy and its alignment with the 'Make in India' initiative, said the company.
Additionally, Nothing stated that this initiative exemplifies their commitment to providing "high-quality, locally-produced products that meet the distinctive preferences and needs of the Indian market," showcasing their expertise in locally manufacturing a uniquely adaptable design.
